The event

We are planning a session on the Lexical Approach to teaching. If you’ve never heard of it, the Lexical Approach advocates that we should focus more on “the grammar of words” to help students gain proficiency. For this event, we do not have an external speaker. Rather, Sarah from our committee (that is to say, I) will be leading through a practical session inspired by some things I just heard at a seminar from Lexical–Approach-guru Hugh Dellar. Since the workshop, I’ve been trying out some of the ideas and I believe there’s plenty worth sharing. If you’re interested – come along!
