Vote from Abroad

This message is from Rita Forbes:

As an American who lives near Munich, I am volunteering with the Democrats Abroad Global Black Caucus to make sure every American who lives abroad knows that they have the right to vote in the November election. Could you help us get this important message out to members of HELTA?

Only a small percentage of the estimated 9 million Americans who live abroad actually votes. You can help change this by sharing the following message with your members in newsletters, emails, or on social media:

Americans who live abroad can request their absentee ballot now by going to the nonpartisan website www.VoteFromAbroad.org. It takes 15 minutes to complete the form and send it back to your local election official in the USA. If you live in an area where the postal service is not working well or post to the USA is delayed, you can also vote with a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB).

Feel free to contact me if you would like additional information or help in crafting a more personalized message.

Thank you very much for providing this community service to your members.

Best regards,

Rita Forbes
